Unbelievable! Assembling a Wheelbarrow Takes Only 5 Minutes
09 September 2025

I have spent years surrounded by all kinds of construction machinery, knowing every piece of equipment used on job sites like the back of my hand. Wheelbarrows, in particular, have always seemed like run-of-the-mill tools—nothing special, really. That is, until I joined TUFX this year. A specialist in crafting the best poly wheelbarrows with over 30 years of experience, TUFX boasts an impressive roster of clients, including Home Depot, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, and more. From the moment I laid hands on their products, I was drawn to the superiority of the PX120 series. But what truly blew my mind? The assembly process of the PX120.

To get a better sense of the product landscape, I first researched wheelbarrows online and found that North America predominantly uses American-style models from AMES-owned brands like Jackson and Garant.

The frame of this type of wheelbarrow is typically constructed with two handles as the main structure, and numerous other components are connected to it via bolts.

I decided to assemble one myself at the factory. With a colleague’s help, I struggled through repeated do-overs and finally finished—after 55 long minutes.

Then I tried assembling a PX120, which offers the same 6 cu ft capacity. To my amazement, it took me just over 4 minutes. Why? Because it only requires tightening 5 screws. The sheer ease of the process left me pleasantly surprised. The PX120 series stands out as the best plastic wheelbarrow on the market. It is composed of just 3 main parts: a one-piece frame, a 6 cuft plastic tray, and 16-inch outer diameter wheel—plus 5 bolt sets for installation.

You can never truly understand how shocked I am right now—two wheelbarrows with the exact same capacity, yet just different in style, have such an enormous difference when it comes to assembly. This sense of astonishment is really something that’s hard to forget.

So, my friend, if you’re looking to boost assembly efficiency, look no further. The PX120 isn’t just a wheelbarrow—it’s the best plastic wheelbarrow you can get.
